After the catastrophe, chaos, and candy of the holidays, it's time to start the New Year!  And, if you're like me, you'll probably be recovering for several weeks.  That, and figuring out the gadgets you bought for the kids that for some reason are only partially working.  These, of course, are the gadgets that came second fiddle to the main gadgets(Nintendo Switch or Fitbit possibly??)  which had to be frustratingly fixed and trouble-shot in the days(week!) immediately following Christmas.  But now, here we are...

As the holidays arrive, and we're buried in the hustle and bustle - its time to wish each and everyone all the very, merry best for the Holidays!!  Unfortunately, it ALSO means surviving the kids at home for the next two weeks!!!!   To survive, we decided we could put the kids to good use, outside!...

Here we are.  Fall is upon us.  I'm digging through old pictures and realizing how fast my kids are growing up.  I mean fast!  This pic is just from a few years ago, but my kids are so different.  We've actually graduated from letting them do the corn maze alone, to possibly maybe letting them do the corn maze AT NIGHT! with their friends.  That's a big step in the October Halloween world.  Yes, we're moving into the tweens.  Ugh. Unfortunately, we're still trying to figure out the cover.  Apparently, a number of people are concerned about the "dad on toilet" pic my kids drew.  So we're trying very hard to find an alternate.  It's NOT easy.  I'm hopeful we'll have something soon. In the meantime, the link to the Amazon...

I thought it would be important today to highlight some helpful tips for the new dads out there.  Of course, we all know, fatherhood can be quite a shock.  Lack of sleep, lack of time, lack of silence - it all starts to add up into a continuous cacophony of panic and confusion.  Luckily, I thought of this while my wife sent me to the store this weekend...

So tonight, I realized I don't have to drive the kids to soccer practice.  Say WHUUUT?!!?  That's right!!  I've already paid my dues driving earlier in the week, and tonight it just so happens - I DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE!  I feel like a won the lotto!  I'm elated.  Dancing on clouds.  THRILLED!!! ...
